Preserving The History Of America's First Great Dam

The Keokuk-Hamilton Dam Museum relies

on donations to maintain its mission.

YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Funds are needed for matching grant programs, building and exhibit maintenance, and new exhibits.  If you would like to be a financial supporter of the Museum, please contribute either by mail or by contacting one of our Board Members.  Checks and credit cards are accepted.

DONORS

Ameren-Missouri Corporation is a substantial financial supporter of the Museum along with generous donations of original artifacts from the powerhouse.  Other important sponsors that have supported our mission are Alliant Energy, Catfish Bend Casino and the City of Keokuk.  We have also received individual financial donations and unique items from collectors, from friends of the Museum and families of past employees of the powerhouse.

These donations have made it possible to purchase the museum building, building upgrades including a new heating and cooling system, exhibit fixtures and a virtual tour system of the powerhouse.

THANK YOU

Because of the generous support of these donors, the museum continues to grow as a unique source of  history of the Keokuk-Hamilton Dam.  Thank you.
